Live community radio - it's on.

Fri Mar 21, 2008 at 03:42:55 PM PDT

Hi - Rob here again with All Over The Place on HomeGrownRadioNJ.org, the Internet radio show that's a musical education in three hours or less. Why do I post it here? Good question - wish I had an answer. Just felt it was my job to entertain you as you surfed the web. AOTP runs from 7 pm to 10 pm EST, in other words, right about now. Click on "listen live" to, you know, listen. Live.

About HGRNJ - it's a small community-based Internet radio operation located in Blairstown, NJ. We've been around for over 3 years and we just got our nonprofit status (hence the .org). HGRNJ DJs will play anything and everything!

Drop a comment in if you have a musical request. I've got a 320 GB hard drive and I'm not afraid to use it.

Go here to tune in.

Updates below.

Grateful Dead Hour until 6.55 pm.

7.10 pm - we begin with the Mission Of Burma reissues, just out this week.

7.25 pm - Dwight Yoakam, Bruce, new Black Crowes, Ryan Bingham (new!), Chris Stamey, Robbie Fulks all on the way...

8.15 pm - on the way - Matthew Ryan (great singer/songwriter), Go-Betweens, The Brother Kite, and new stuff from Bell X1 and She & Him (M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel).

8.45 pm - the madness continues with Smithereens, Lloyd Cole, Lime Spiders and new act The Fratellis. Then AOTP gets normal with Huey Lewis.

9.25 pm - Some '70s hits from Rhino's Have a nice day series.
