the live community radio thing

Fri Apr 18, 2008 at 03:57:34 PM PDT

Hi - Rob here again with All Over The Place on HomeGrownRadioNJ.org, the Internet radio show that's a musical education in three hours or less. Why do I post it here? Good question - wish I had an answer. Just felt it was my job to entertain you as you surfed the web. AOTP runs from 7 pm to 10 pm EST, in other words, right about now. Click on "listen live" to, you know, listen. Live.

About HomeGrownRadioNJ.org - it's a small community-based Internet radio operation located in Blairstown, NJ. We've been around for over 3 years and we just got our nonprofit status (hence the .org). HGRNJ DJs will play anything and everything!

Drop a comment in if you have a musical request. I've got a 320 GB hard drive and I'm not afraid to use it.

Go here to tune in.

Updates below.

6.57 pm - In the leadoff spot tonight, an old 7" from Modest Mouse.

7.10 pm - B-52's, Suburbs, new music from The Everybodyfields and Pete And The Pirates. Also, Michael Penn, New Model Army and Ike Reiily.

8.10 pm - some hard-to-find live stuff from Low, Grant Lee Buffalo, Bright Eyes and Arcade Fire with a little Brian Vander Ark (The Verve Pipe) thrown in.

8.35 pm - more Robyn Hitchcock, Undertones, and a new one from Tapes 'N Tapes.
