McCain has again been forced to emphasize and re-emphasize his support for Bush in the faux news interview with O'reilly by saying and re-emphasizing that he campaigned for him and voted for him in both 2000 and 2004.

And then he keeps on re-emphasizing this...on top of the fact the he has a freudian slip! amazing!

Can Obama's team make an ad using this footage??!

So I was sitting in class yesterday when I caught the Spitzer news on the NYTimes front page.

I immediately decided to write a quick diary, full of sarcastic snark, on whether Hillary would reject AND denounce Spitzer's endorsement Previous Diary

Another day, another surprise in the American political world.

I have actually been a fan of Spitzer for his tough on white collar crime posturing over the last five years. I was actually hoping that he would blow the lid off the Wall Street thievery in the subprime and debt markets.

Well, let's just say that Spitzer's career, or at least should be, over.

So now that the obituary for Spitzer's career is out of the way...on to Presidential politics....

What do you have to say to all the non-Hillary supporting Democrats regarding your candidates comments praising John McCain and disparaging a Democrat, Obama?

Given that this site has been virulently, and I would have argued before today, unfairly biased against Clinton....I have a couple of questions for all of you so that you can all set the record straight and help enlighten us non-Hillary supporters....

I was browsing bloomberg news service today to find out more info on the dreaded state of our economy and found an interesting article on how Reid has refused to allow a vote on Bush nominations that would be in office way beyond January 19, 2009.

Is Reid finally showing some real backbone on nominations that will affect our country for years to come? Is he really up to the task of preventing the Bush disaster from becoming entrenched in perpetuity through proxies?

Last night's debate was the first I had the opportunity to watch since some of the very early pre-debates several months ago. In conversations with family I have expressed to them my support for Obama due to his overall vision as well as my admiration for Edwards for his consistent anti-corporate stance. I have said that if Clinton were the Democratic nominee I would vote for her while holding my nose since any, ANY Democratic nominee would be better than any rethuglican. Last night's debate, however, showed just how much the Democratic party has become beholden to special interests through the Clinton machine and how the Clinton machine will SAY AND DO ANYTHING to regain power....

In short, if Clinton were the nominee, I would really, really have to put aside my deep down disdain for her campaign tactics...Would I really be able to do this and vote for her??? Would I consider not pulling the lever for Presidential candidates in the voting booth and just voting for local candidates?

I have vowed to never watch Faux news because I dont want to contribute to their undeserved ratings.
